About D1169 Zeus
Zeus is a purebred German Shepherd with a heart as big as his paws. Regal in appearance and deeply affectionate with those he trusts. He would love to be re-homed with his sister, Zara.
When he & his sister first arrived, they were emaciated, terrified & filthy. They have endured a rough start. They are resilient, though, & have come a long way. Our wonderful NRAS volunteers have helped reshape their trust & enjoyment of life.
Zeus & Zara will thrive in calm, patient environment, where they will continue to build confidence at their own pace. The outside world can be a bit overwhelming right now, so they’ll need someone who understands the value of slow introductions and gentle encouragement.
Zeus can be nervous around men and unfamiliar environments, so slow, positive introductions to new people and places are key. He’s not aggressive — just unsure — and he blossoms with consistency, calm energy, and kindness.
What they need most is patience, consistency, and love. With time and trust, Zara & Zeus will blossom into incredible dogs. Naturally protective & would provide excellent security companions.
If you're someone who believes that the best relationships are built slowly and deeply, the beautiful Zeus & Zara just might be the perfect match.
