Zara is a stunning purebred German Shepherd with a heart as beautiful as her classic looks. She would love to be re-homed with her brother, Zeus.

When they first arrived, they were emaciated, terrified & filthy. They have endured a rough start. They are resilient, though, & have come a long way. Our wonderful NRAS volunteers have helped reshape their trust & enjoyment of life.

Zara is a sweet and soulful girl, overflowing with loyalty and affection for those she trusts. Once she bonds with you, she’ll be your shadow, your protector, and your most devoted companion.

They will thrive in calm, patient environment, where they will continue to build confidence at their own pace. The outside world can be a bit overwhelming right now, so they’ll need someone who understands the value of slow introductions and gentle encouragement.

What they need most is patience, consistency, and love. With time and trust, Zara & Zeus will blossom into incredible dogs. Naturally protective & would provide excellent security companions.
