About Buttercup 🧁
Say hello to Buttercup, the bold and bouncy big brother amongst his siblings. He’s the largest in his litter and carries himself with confidence, charm, and a whole lot of energy. Always the first to explore and the first to climb into your lap, Buttercup is a playful little adventurer with a big heart.
He’s super smart and endlessly curious — constantly finding new ways to turn everyday objects into toys. Whether he’s bouncing around with his brother or gently snuggling up to his little sister, Buttercup knows how to balance his boisterous energy with sweet, protective affection.
Cuddles? He’s all for them — and he won’t be shy about asking. He thrives on attention and will happily nuzzle into your arms for some love between play sessions.
If you’re looking for a confident, cuddly, and endlessly curious companion, Buttercup might just be your perfect match.
Buttercup must be adopted into a home with a feline friend, whether that be an existing friendly resident cat, or being adopted alongside one of his beloved siblings, Sunshine (M) or Honey (F).
It’s also important to note that Buttercup is an indoors-only boy, as he prefers the safety, comfort and warmth of an indoors-only lifestyle.
Buttercup is ready to find his forever family — could that be you? 💛

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
