About Spur
Spur is a young kelpie x male.
He is a gentle soul who prefers the company of doggy friends over humans.
He loves the beach and park with his foster gang for an off-lead run and has good recall.
He is learning to chase the ball and walks great on the lead. He is sitting on command with a reward and would most certainly suit a home with an accepting doggy companion and humans that maybe work from home with a reasonable size yard, and are able to give him the time, patients and understand Spurs need for his own personal space. He has been enjoying 1-2 walks a day and big plays at the beach with his doggy friends (the beach is his happy place).
He does not do well with strangers and does need to build a bond and trust over time. This little man has a big heart once he lets you in and will make a very loyal addition to the right home.
Spur has not been tested with younger children or cats.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
