Akira is a smart and independent young lady with a clever mind and a few party tricks - she already knows how to sit, lie down, and shake! True to her Husky heritage, she can be a little aloof and tends to play hard to get, but once she warms up, she's a loyal and engaging companion.

Akira has a known escape history and can open doors and gates. She'll need ongoing work on recall and manners around entrances. A secure yard with a solid fence and lockable gates is essential, as she's surprisingly good at opening doors with handles.

She would thrive in a calm, structured home where routine can help her settle. Ideally, her new adopter would be home more often than not, especially during the first week or so, to support her transition and build trust.

Akira is best suited to a home with teenagers, though calm, older children may be considered pending a successful meet and greet. With patience, consistency, and a bit of extra security, Akira will make a smart, spirited, and loving addition to the right home.
