Charlemagne is an extremely friendly and happy boy.

He’s very dog oriented and loves to play with other dogs—having other dogs in his future fam is a strong preference. He has quite an intense style of play so his future buddies will need to be able to handle his boisterous energy.
He’s not tested with cats or children.

Charlemagne is incredibly intelligent, and has learnt to sit, drop and stay during two weeks of fostering and is making good progress with lead training. He sleeps quietly in his crate during the night.

Due to his kelpie dominated personality he’ll need a lot of space, ideally on an acreage. He has a tone of energy and needs to be able to exercise throughout the day. Mental stimulation is also very important for kelpies, so continued training is also important.

Charlemagne is mostly an outside dog but thoroughly enjoys cuddling on the couch and makes it his life goal to get your attention (see photos provided).
