My name is Amber. A 22kg-24kg staffy cross. I was impounded as a stray and my human never came fwd to free me so when my time was up, I needed a rescue to help me. I was in critical status as I waited for almost 4 weeks , while the pound was overflowing with new dogs but luckily Tails of The Forgotten Paws came through on the 11th hour and they took me into their care.

Staffs at the pound spoke highly of me because although I'm still around 16mths to 20mths old, I have an old soul, certain calmness in my temperament and really I don't behave like a young pup at all!
Physically you can see, I was used for breeding by my previous human unfortunately and I had limited exposure to the human world sadly they only wanted to make money from me.

I'm not a barker,I love people and I don't need to always go go go . I'm happy to snooze and be lazy.
I'm actually not high energy at all and happy to lounge or do my own thing and enjoy calm mature environment.

30 to 40mins adventure walk will be more than enough.

I have extra toe/dew claw on my hind legs 😉😊 like a proper extra toe. So when you trim my nails you'll have to do 1 extra on each hind leg hhehhehehe

Since in care I've gained a lot of new life skills , I'm mostly indoor and I can use the dog door to do toilet. I'm house trained . I have a sweet mature quiet disposition. But at the same time, due to my young age, I can benefit from further confidence & socialisation training. RIGHT NOW I prefer calm more mature balanced dogs. I am a staffy afterall , not a labrador or golden retriever. I adore humans , and can be picky when making friends with other dogs.

The human centric world is very big and can be overwhelming for young dogs like me. My life before being rescued was quite isolated from the big world.
True to my breed, I want to please my family and I'm loyal.

I'm very intelligent- not book smart , more street smart kinda intelligence , one time I was able to open my own crate and break free while my foster humans were asleep hehe hehe. Yes I am crate trained and everynight I sleep in the crate , nap time 12pm to 2pm I sleep on the couch in the lounge.

I can be funny /silly too sometimes 😜🙃😄 my foster family thinks I'm a bit of a comedian hehhehe

I currently live with 2 big foster brothers; a mastiff and a rottie and 1 younger medium size foster sister , plus 1 small older foster sister. Im able to live peacefully with them as my foster family took a slow approach to introducing me to them gradually until I feel comfortable /settled with them.

I am NEVER TESTED w cats or other small animals. And very important to remember, I'm not a labrador or golden retriever and I will never be so although I have met lots of new dog friends , that doesn't mean I will like ALL dogs.

My favorite friends are those that are mature well balanced and calm dogs. I connect the best with them just as I connect best with humans with calm confident nature.

I'm always on leash when out and about * recall is something I'm still learning* generally speaking i don't like interacting with other random dogs when on leash / walking outside ..so I'm not a dog park kinda dog. Random dogs sometimes make me unsure especially the ones that barks at me or stare at me
Just like any dogs, I'd need my forever home to keep nurturing me , because learning is a lifetime journey, I love learning and I'm very good at listening.

My favorite friends are other well behaved calm mature dogs , those that aren't over the top and just chill . *proper intro in a safe environment is a must please 🙏 *

I'm now ready to look for my forever home, one that loveeeeeeee my breed and experienced with staffy.
I want to have a home where I'm a part of the family and my humans have time to spend with me. I really hope I don't spend most of my time alone waiting for my humans 10 to 12 hrs everyday.

I'm OK with kids above 12yo who are dog savy . I can be playful, I'm a staffy after all.
But I'm also excellent at listening to my human 😌 hence I am a quick Learner especially with training.

Im mostly indoor, a quiet girl, im only putdoor for toilet or whenever im playing with my foster sister or brother. You must have secure fence over 1.5m because staffy can jump 😉😊
Can I live in an apartment? Ummmm as long as i have the right lifestyle 😌 👌

I'd love to have a fur brother who is more mature and well balanced , but I'm also OK as the only dog in the house , I'm quite independent once I settled.

I walk well on leash and travel really well in the car inside my soft crate . I'd love to be able to go adventuring with you!

I love learning new things so I hope my forever family will keep teaching me new life skills 🙌

My diet is healthy fresh food diet , sometimes I get premium freeze dried kibbles . I like my cooked veggies and frozen berries too. I don't have any food allergies and my coat is super smooth & shinny 😀😃

I'm not bothered by thunder or rain or fireworks *I'm always indoor chilling with my human anyway*

I have the staffy traits of being my humans besst friend snuggling with them on the couch or wherever there is space to snuggle 🤪😛😜
I AM THE SNUGGLE QUEEN

I sit before my meal and I don't have food guarding issue because my foster brothers and sisters have never bothered me while I'm eating . We all eat independent from each other.

I love a good natural chew *lean raw frozen bones like kangaroo ribs or lamb ribs are great too

Lastly I have a Harry Potter scar on my left forehead 🙃 🙂 being too playful, vet checked it and nothing to worry about .
I'm great at the vet, they checked me top to bottom, im 100% healthy. My vets love me!

My adoption incld supplies enough for the first 2 mths , incld my bed, leash collar , food, treats , toys , bowls etc.
