About Pippa
Meet Pippa, a sweet Cavalier mix with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. Although she may come across as shy and nervous at first, this gentle soul blossoms beautifully once she trusts you, often surprising you by jumping right into your lap and filling your heart with warmth.
A calm, patient environment would be ideal for Pippa, especially with someone who can offer her the confidence and support she needs to come out of her shell. With her soft nature, loud noises can seem overwhelming, so a peaceful home would complement her personality perfectly.
Despite her initial shyness, Pippa has shown to be good with cats and expresses an interest in her fellow canine friends. While she generally enjoys their company, her nervousness can sometimes make interactions challenging, so patient introductions will be important.
Pippa will thrive beautifully with an older, quiet person who appreciates life at a leisurely pace. With a little patience and time, Pippa promises to be a loving and loyal companion, ready to bring joy and tranquility into your life. If you have a quiet household and a calm demeanor, Pippa just might be your perfect match.
Medical notes
Pippa has had a dental scale and extractions.
She has mild carpal valgus.
From the vet:
At a routine dental on 16th July a chronic, non-painful mandibular symphyseal non union was diagnosed. This condition means that the two sides of the mandibles are not joined properly at the front of the mouth where they meet. Radiographs were taken, confirming that there is a wider gap than usual between the mandibles at the symphysis and confirmed that there was no obvious sign of bone disease.
Pippa is showing no signs of pain and is eating well - This needs to be monitored.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
