About Danger Mouse
Once a little rogue with serious trust issues, Danger Mouse has come a long way. This pint-sized Chihuahua has shed his suspicious ways and is now thriving in foster care — charming, playful, and deeply affectionate with the people he knows and trusts.
Weighing in under 3kg, Danger Mouse is full of personality. He is often on the move and enjoys racing top speed around the yard, he doesn't mind a romp with his dog friends but most of all he loves to jump up into the arms of his favourite human (and we do mean jump, he has springs disguised as legs).
🏡 Danger Mouse’s Ideal Home
Danger Mouse is looking for a calm, adult-only home with humans who are experienced with small dogs — especially ones who need a bit of management around new people (he's pretty good these days). His new family should be confident in setting boundaries, reading body language, and allowing him time and space to settle in.
He’d love a home where someone is around more often than not, although does not have any separation anxiety or a confident dog buddy to show him the ropes. A secure yard or dog-safe apartment is perfect, as long as his people are mindful and attentive — he’s tiny, fast, and loves to be up in your business.
⚡ Energy Level
Danger Mouse is a BUSY guy. He darts, zooms and zips about but he's not going to need to be run km's daily, just a nice daily outing where he can explore and sniff and then he's a settled snuggle king at home.
👶 Suitability to Children
Not suited to homes with young children. He needs a peaceful, predictable environment.
🐶🐱 Suitability to Other Pets
Danger Mouse is currently living in a multi-dog household and is confident with interacting with both big and small. He can be a little sassy at times so people confident in keeping him humble are required. He has previously lived with a cat without issue.
He's not for everyone but for the right person, Danger Mouse is everything. 💕 A reformed rascal ready to give you all his trust, on his own terms.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
