He came from a home overwhelmed with too many cats, where he sadly didn’t get the attention or care he deserved. But despite his rough start, Nixon has proven to be incredibly resilient and full of love to give.

Now in a foster environment, Nixon is slowly learning what it means to feel safe and cherished. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels secure, his affectionate personality begins to shine. He enjoys gentle pats, and chin rubs.

Nixon has a calm and quiet nature, and he finds comfort in the company of other cats. Because of this, he would love to be adopted with one of his feline friends or go to a home with an existing friendly, laid-back cat who can help him continue to grow in confidence.

He would do best in a peaceful home with patient adopters who understand that some love takes time—but is so worth it. With kindness and routine, Nixon is sure to become a loyal and loving companion.
