About Curly Wurly
If you want a pigeon who can do a cool party trick, Curly Wurly might be the one for you. 🫵
Curly Wurly was found unable to eat and look after himself outside a few months ago due to PMV (paramyxovirus) getting ahold of him and causing inflammation in the brain- resulting in neurological symptoms, thus leaving him with a bit of a wry neck.
But his wonky neck doesn’t slow him down! Curly Wurly is completely capable of feeding and doing other normal pigeons like cooing and doing flirty dances to impressive everyone.
Curly Wurly would like to be in an indoor home where he can continue to cause trouble, either by himself or with a girlfriend.
Medical notes
Paramyxovirus - please reach out to discuss if this is a concern.

Thank you for considering adopting from FFPR!
Once you have expressed interest in a bird, we ask that you formally apply to adopt via our adoption form (this can be done ahead of time) https://forms.gle/cjP9TZJcKAgkze6A6
From there we will work with the adopter to find a bird that suits their lifestyle, and organise a meet and greet at our shelter. We offer continious support post-adoption and are always available for help or questions.
