Hi there, I'm Patty! I'm the resident little firecracker here!

I'm a clever little Kelpie girl with a heart full of love and legs full of zoom.

At first glance, I might seem a little unsure of myself — I can be a bit nervous in new places or with new people — but once I trust you, I’ll be your most loyal shadow. I'm always beside the staff side and watching everything they do!

I’m looking for a calm, predictable household where I can settle in without too much hustle and bustle. That means no young kids under 12, please — I like things a bit quieter so I can feel safe and in control. But don't get me wrong: I’m no couch potato. I’ve got plenty of energy to burn and need someone who understands working breeds.

I've met a couple dog friends here at the shelter, and wouldn't mind going home with a dog friend to play and sniff around with. I do prefer my own space too, so a chilled doggy sibling would be a great match.

Ideally, you’re someone who’s had experience with Kelpies or similar breeds before. I need gentle guidance, structure, and plenty of stimulation to keep my body and brain happy.

I respond best to patience, kindness, and a consistent routine. With the right person, I’ll blossom. I’ve got so much potential and I can’t wait to find that special someone who sees me not just as a project, but as a partner.
