Meet Buddy - an active, playful young boy searching for a family who loves adventure as much as he does! Full of energy and affection, he's best suited to a home where he's allowed indoors and involved in everyday family life.

Buddy thrives on companionship and loves being close to his people, often leaning in for pats and cuddles. He'll need secure fencing, as he has previously escaped when bored, though he has settled well indoors at the shelter.

To keep Buddy happy and mentally stimulated, provide plenty of enrichment, toys, and activities - especially when he's left on his own. He's still learning his basic cues and can take a little time to be lured into a sit, so continued positive training in his new home will help him succeed.

He would love to be your one and only or to have a doggie sister in his fur-ever home.
Buddy is open to the right family, and we recommend any children meet him at the time of adoption to ensure a great match.
