Lizzie 🌹

This is Lizzie, rescued from the streets of Preston with her two kittens, Atticus and Stevie, in 2024. As a young mum trying to care for her babies in a hostile environment, Lizzie was simply trying to survive when they were targeted children throwing rocks to chase them away.

Lizzie and her boys were brought into foster care by Heart & Soul, and since then, she’s been able to rest, heal, and begin life again in a safe foster home.

Lizzie is a quiet, independent girl who is learning to focus on herself and while she’s still reserved, her gentle presence is empowering. Lizzie prefers to keep her distance but is calm, polite, and completely non-aggressive. She simply needs a home that respects her need for space.

Due to her past, Lizzie is looking for an adults-only household that’s peaceful and cat-savvy, where she can continue to build trust without being pushed too far outside her comfort zone. A home with another calm, friendly cat or one of her kittens would suit her well, as she enjoys the quiet company of her feline companions.

Lizzie currently lives with Atticus, Stevie, and several other cats in foster care. She blends in beautifully, no conflict, no fuss, just a low-key presence who appreciates routine and respect.

Lizzie may never be a lap cat, but in the right home, she will thrive in her own way. She’s a resilient cat with a quiet strength, and for the person who understands that not all cats want the spotlight, she’ll be a deeply rewarding addition.
