Meet Tamale– One determined little lady, she knows what she wants whether that be to get up on the sofa or another dogs food. She loves a sofa nap, but often forgets about edges and rolls off during wake up stretches. Maybe she's embarrassed and doesn't want to draw attention to herself but she never whinges after a spill, just goes straight back to sleep.

Her breed mix is a total mystery, but if we had to take an educated guess, we’d say there’s a dash of Shar Pei in there somewhere. With her solid build and growing frame, we expect she’ll mature into at least a medium-sized dog, possibly larger and definitely full of personality.

Active lifestyle: Daily walks, training sessions, and plenty of playtime.
Firm but loving leadership: Like all puppies she will test boundaries—consistency is key.
Canine company welcome: She’d love a doggy sibling and thrives in the company of confident doggy pals who can show her the ropes. Homes without a resident dog should plan for frequent social outings ideally in structured environment where we can learn our manners and social cues.

⚡ Energy Level
Zoomies down the hallway, tug-of-war marathons, then flopping into your lap for a snooze — Tamale switches between play and rest like a champ (with a gentle reminder when it’s downtime).

👧 Children
She's great with dog-savvy kids and applications from family homes are welcomed. She’s learning not to jump, but her sweet nature and love of cuddles make her a wonderful playmate. She is however a puppy and puppies use their mouths to explore so any family with young children would need to outline how they would manage the two.

🐶 Dogs & 🐱 Cats
Dogs: Super social! Still mastering polite canine manners, but responds well to gentle corrections and guidance from you.

Cats: Not yet tested.
