Meet River – A Little Bundle of Fun in a Wire Coat!

River is a 5.6kg pocket rocket full of love, energy, and personality! This super playful girl is always up for fun and thrives on both mental and physical stimulation – true to her Wire Jack Russell Terrier roots.

She walks beautifully on lead, adores her food (making training a breeze), and has already mastered the doggie door – so no accidents in the house. While she’s learning to relax in the evenings, she still likes a quick 5–10 minute play before bedtime… then it’s straight under the doona for snuggles with her human.

River is affectionate, loves cuddles, and is happiest when she’s with her people. She’d also love a playful doggy sibling – ideally one a bit bigger – to help her burn off some of her endless energy. She’s not a barker by nature, only alerting you when someone passes the house.

Fluffy toys? She’s a fan. Cozy naps? Absolutely. A quiet life? Not so much – River needs an active family who understands the needs of a high-energy terrier.

Apartment living isn’t for her, but if you’ve got the time, space, and love to give, River will reward you with endless joy, loyalty, and laughs.
