About Alfie
🐾 Meet Alfie – Your Sunny Sidekick! ☀️
📍 Location: Botany | 🧬 Age: 1 year
Looking for a calm, curious, and totally gorgeous companion? Meet Alfie, a striking pure white boy with soft long hair, a gloriously bushy tail, and gorgeous green eyes that seem to sparkle in the sunlight.
Alfie is a relaxed and gentle soul who loves being part of the action. Whether you're cooking, working, or just chilling, he’ll be nearby—maybe lounging on the windowsill soaking up the sun, or curled up at the end of your bed for a quiet nap.
He’s inquisitive and social, always keen to be included in the day-to-day activities. Alfie will chat to you with meows and trills (especially if dinner’s running late!), and he loves being picked up and carried like a big fluffy baby. He's incredibly chill and easy-going with his humans.
Alfie’s Favourite Things:
🐟 Food (he’s a true foodie!)
🪞 Laser light games
👀 Watching the world from his sunny window perch
Not a Fan Of:
🚪Being left out of the action
🔊 Loud noises
🕐 Late dinner (you’ll hear about it!)
Alfie has blossomed in foster care—he’s become more confident, affectionate, and comfortable just being himself. He’s ready to find a forever home where he can continue to grow, explore, and follow his humans from room to room.
Let this snowy prince brighten your days and keep you company through all of life’s little moments. 💚

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
