About Fluffy
Meet Fluffy – The Sweetheart in a Tuxedo
Fluffy came into the loving care of DCH Animal Adoptions after his previous owner had to surrender four cats due to a sudden change in life circumstances. Though he wasn't related to the other cats, Fluffy was one of the youngest—and one of the gentlest. Since coming into foster care, he has been quietly winning hearts with his affectionate nature, gentle confidence, and graceful curiosity.
With his sleek black coat, snowy socks, and a delightful splash of white on his chest and belly, Fluffy is a classic “tuxedo” cat—but there’s nothing formal about his personality. He’s sweet, playful, and devoted to his human companions. Though he may initially be shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long before he’s seeking out pats, rubs, and cuddles. Fluffy is also a true feline diplomat—friendly with other cats and unbothered by a few hisses. He responds with patience and kindness until he's made himself a new best friend.
Fluffy is fully litter-trained (especially on pellet litter), and a quiet, respectful housemate. He has impeccable manners with furniture, shoes, and clothes, and his playstyle is gentle and feather-light—though he can surprise you with his impressive leaps! He loves climbing cat trees, chasing balls, swatting at feathers, and cuddling up with plushies. Fluffy enjoys both wet and dry food and keeps a calm, easy rhythm throughout the day. He often chooses to nap near you, especially when you're curled up with a book or watching TV.
Now desexed, microchipped, and vaccinated, Fluffy is ready to start the next chapter of his life. He would thrive in a quiet to moderately active home—whether with a single person, couple, or family—and would do particularly well with a home that already has a gentle feline companion (but he can be independent as well).
Come meet Fluffy and let this elegant, affectionate boy steal your heart. All he wants is a safe, warm home where he’s loved—and he’ll return it a hundredfold.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
