Meet the lovely Joanie!

Joanie is the sweetest and gentlest of dogs you could ever meet. If you plan on coming to meet her, be prepared to take her home because she steals the hearts of everyone she meets.

Joanie is timid and unsure with people she doesn't know, but this doesn't mean she won't come over to you for pats and rolls on her back for belly rubs. She just does it a little warily and appreciates a gentle and slow approach. Joanie leans in and quite literally wraps herself around you for cuddles and reassurance melting our hearts completely. With time she gains confidence and in the right home with proper training she will learn and thrive. She is only young after all!

Joanie is happiest around people however she is happy to go off and do her own exploring and playing. She doesn't know a lot about the world in the short time she's been in it so she will over time need to learn how to properly play. For now she is happy to sit by your side and be your best friend.

Joanie is happy to live alongside young kids (once they are dog savvy) and could benefit from having a dog play mate. A dog that is calm and could act as a good role model would be perfect for her.

Joanie doesn't need much, just a little patience and a lot of love. If you think you're her person, she's more than ready to be your pup!
