Hi, I’m Charlie – a sweet, gentle boy with a heart full of love and a calm nature that makes me the perfect family companion.
How I ended up in the pound is a mystery, but thankfully the kind folks at Silver Lining Pet Rescue gave me a second chance. Now, I’m hoping to find a forever home where I’ll be safe, cherished, and loved.
I’m well past my curtain-climbing kitten days, but I still enjoy a good play session and some engaging chats with my humans. My gentle temperament shines through in everything I do – whether I’m cuddling up for some affection or quietly following you around the house.

Adoption details
Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
