About Raven
Raven is an eight week old border collie cross puppy. This little boy what a firecracker of brave adventurer and professional heart stealer. He loves nothing more than a snuggle and will remind you with a newly discovered attitude and voice if it has been too long between loves.
He loves being warm and snuggling up to you. He's the largest of our little puppies and he does love his food. He loves nothing more than a play with his brothers, usually an enthusiasm game of "let me bite you" and then "help foster mum I'm in a predicament".
He was the first of my four foster pups to really try and engage with his big bull Arab foster sister and brother, much to their disgust at times, plus his brave and increasingly confident nature saw him the first out in the dangerous wilds of "off the verandah and into the no man's lands aka the backyard."
Already Raven demonstrates a beautiful nature, when he gets a little nippy (as they do at eight weeks discovering their mouths and teethies) a quiet nooo or a little squeal (as puppies learn not to hurt their siblings) and he stops to give kisses.
Whilst licking is discouraged, it's really flipping adorable once or twice a week with his little Buddha face and that oh-so-touchable belly when he lies there after a feed and he's full as a goog.
The pups are all house training really effectively, and whilst currently their funnest game is "why can't I chew the puppy pads mum" we will transition soon to encouraging one toilet spot in their extra large enclosure (aka half my very generous lounge room.) But all four are learning to cry at the door when they want out and they don't dirty their bed areas (and haven't forgotten a solid week or two... a careless walk-through still occurs but hey... puppies!
They're even mostly leaving the verandah or and toileting far away from doorways and on the grass. Foster mum is pretty darn proud of the four of them.
Raven, oh we love him. He knows how to milk the cute and will make an amazing addition to someone's family, maybe ideally with another dog who loves to play, or children (which he's spent all his time here with), just people who like spending time with their puppus (because he's a bit sooky and wants ALL the snugs as often as possible).
If Raven seems like your forever mate, fill out the application and suitable applicants will be contacted for a meet and greet. And once you do... He'll win your heart we promise you.
