Say hello to Bernie, a stunning sweetheart with the softest fluffy coat and the most magical eyes - one blue, one green! This beautiful boy isn’t just a pretty face - he’s full of love, warmth, and gentle charm.
Bernie is an old soul and has a lovely, calm temperament and a heart as soft as his fur. He’s incredibly affectionate and friendly, always happy to share cuddles or simply sit by your side. Whether you’re working from home or lounging on the couch, Bernie will be your comforting companion.
He’s fantastic with other cats, showing patience and kindness to everyone he meets - but he’s also happy to soak up all the love as the only cat in the home. Bernie is beautifully adaptable and would thrive in a variety of home environments.
With his outgoing yet peaceful nature, Bernie could even be a fantastic candidate for harness training and outdoor adventures with the right guidance and encouragement.
Bernie is an indoors-only boy, as he prefers the safety & comfort of an indoor-only environment, with the only exceptions being a secure outdoor enclosure or harness.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
