About Jemma SUA014037
Meet Jemma, a truly stunning feline who is as graceful as she is playful. This beautiful lady captures hearts with her elegant demeanor and adores engaging in playtime with her favourite toys. Her quiet, lady-like meow is as gentle as she is, offering a soft greeting to those she loves.
Jemma thrives in the comfort and security of an indoor life, where she feels safest and most content. The great outdoors tends to make her anxious, so she's in search of a tranquil home where she can blossom without fear. Her ideal day would involve a cozy, peaceful environment, preferably with a warm lap to snuggle into during the winter months.
Jemma has a discerning nature and takes her time to get to know new people. She is looking for a patient and understanding individual who appreciates her cautious but sweet personality. Once she feels comfortable, Jemma rewards her chosen companions with loyalty and affection. However, she isn't a fan of loud noises or the bustle of children, as these can heighten her anxiety. Thus, she would do best in a calm, quiet adult-only home where she can relax and be her adorable self.
Jemma is ready to find a loving family who sees her for the true gem she is and can offer her the peaceful and affectionate life she deserves. If you can offer Jemma the calm and cozy household she craves, she'll become a devoted and loving companion.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
