Nike is a retired racer turned professional lounger. He's long, lean, and shockingly foldable - a real-life origami masterpiece in dog form. Don't let his size fool you; this boy can curl tighter than a cinnamon roll and squeeze into the coziest corners of your heart (and your couch).
He's built for bursts of brilliance - a sprinter by nature, not a marathoner. A couple zoomies around the yard and he's done for the day, ready to melt into your lap or shadow you from room to room like a chilled-out, leggy shadow.
Nike is also dog-social with medium to large pups and would happily join a team. He's all about good vibes, good naps, and good company - canine or human. Whether you've already got a four-legged friend or you're just starting your squad, Nike's ready to slot into the roster.
What's he looking for?

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
