Trixie

Trixie is a shy yet affectionate young girl looking for a calm, patient home where she can build a strong bond with her new family. She can be unsure at times and will need slow, positive introductions to new people, places, and experiences.

Once Trixie trusts you, she becomes incredibly loving - leaning into your legs, sitting by your feet, and gazing up at you with her sweet puppy-dog eyes. She forms deep connections quickly and wants to be close to her people.

Trixie will need to be included in the home and family life. She may be anxious when first left alone, so having someone home during her settling-in period will help her feel safe and secure.

Trixie is open to the right family. Children must be calm and respectful, and all family members will need to meet her. She must also meet any existing dogs. While she may be timid at first, she blossoms with the companionship of another dog and would love a friendly male or female doggy friend in her new home.
