Oakley our 13 month old German Shepherd x Border Collie is ready to find his forever home.

In foster care Oakley is going really well and is very responsive to training. Being still a young dog in puppy stages Oakley will revert to digging or chewing items if left home alone for extended periods when bored. Bones and kong type toys with treats in them help engage his mind and help alleviate the digging or chewing.

Oakley would be best suited to a family with
older teens due to him still jumping up, especially when excited. He may accidentially push young children over when excited. He can also be a bit demanding for attention and push past young children.

Oakley walks very well on the lead, knows commands of heel, sit, stop, leave it. His foster carer is currently working on Oakley's ability to stay and wait 😁.

Oakley currently sleeps inside on a blanket and not on a bed or lounge.

All of Oakley's vet work has been completed and he is now ready to find a home. Oakley's adoption fee is $700.
