Happy Harry (On Trial)

Harry went on trial 9/7/11. Please see our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly bobbi, barkley and snowy. . . . Happy harry is a lively young boy of about 2 years and playful as a pup and full of fun. He is smiley and affectionate and is house trained. Harry loves playing about in a safe outside yard and is sociable and attentive. He can easily amuse himself, then flakes out with exhaustion for a while, soon ready for activity once again. . . Harry has adapted well to the other dogs and is very friendly. He appreciates various toys and picks up games quickly. Being allowed inside around people is important to him. Cuddles and affection are well rewarded with his happy outgoing personality. He is not at all fussy with his food and seems a bit skinny for his age so needs some extra treats, as he’s so energetic. A little bit of discipline and training for obedience will make a difference. He would enjoy dog training classes. . . . We can't be sure of his breed; perhaps silky terrier/jack russell mix or australian silky terrier? harry has tan and white colouring and shaggy hair that doesn’t seem to shed so he'll need some regular brushing. . . Harry may bark when he feels neglected at this stage probably because he may not have had much individual attention in the past. When travelling in the car, he sits quietly and every so often will look through the window at the sights. He would love to accompany you for walks or picnics. He loves the company of other dogs and/or people, and can also amuse himself. Not sure how he is with cats. . . . Harry is a just a happy bundle of playfulness! if you want an active, adoring, quick-witted dog who will respond well to affection and be a part of your family, then harry is your man.
