Sweet, shy little Charles has had a rough start in life. He arrived at our facility with no known history, clearly very stressed and overwhelmed. At first, he kept to himself-hiding away from the world. But with patience, kindness, and a whole lot of love, we've begun to see the real Charles shine through.

These days, he greets us with slow blinks, enjoys gentle pats, and is slowly discovering that the world isn't such a scary place after all.

Charles is looking for a calm and quiet home, ideally with cat-savvy adults who understand that some cats need a little extra time and care. With the right environment and a patient heart, Charles will continue to blossom into the loving companion we know he can be.

We've seen incredible progress already-now all he needs is a safe place to keep growing.
