Pooky

Pooky is a sweet, shy young lady who needs time to feel safe in new environments. Once she's comfortable, she becomes a loyal and loving companion. She's best suited to a quiet, calm home where she can settle at her own pace, as loud noises and unpredictable movements can make her nervous.

Pooky would do well with older children who understand how to be gentle and respectful of her space. Younger children may be suitable if they are calm and experienced with shy dogs-any kids in the home must meet her at the time of adoption.

She'll thrive in a home that's willing to take things slowly, giving her time to adjust before introducing her to new places or experiences. Busy areas like dog parks or beaches may be too much for her; she prefers peaceful walks in quiet surroundings.

Providing Pooky with a secure, comfortable space-like a crate or designated safe area-will help her settle and feel at ease. With patience, understanding, and love, Pooky will blossom into a wonderful lifelong friend.
