About Veronica
Meet Veronica – A Story of Hope and New Beginnings
When a kind-hearted woman discovered five abandoned cats living in her yard, she didn’t turn away. These cats had belonged to a neighbour who moved out and left them all behind. Among them was Veronica — a gentle, undesexed mama who had already given birth to two litters.
This beautiful Samaritan and her loving family welcomed them with open arms, caring for them through love and compassion. But when her husband became gravely ill with cancer, she knew she could no longer provide them with the care they deserved. That’s when she reached out to us.
We helped this woman and ensured all their vet work was completed, and within a month, Veronica’s three sons and her companion were all adopted — a true miracle.
Now it’s Veronica’s turn.
She’s affectionate, elegant, and confident — a true lap cat if you’ll let her be. She loves being near her people, enjoys cuddles, and will happily sleep by your side. She seeks your attention with head butts and soft purrs, and nothing makes her happier than a little bit of chicken — her absolute favourite - she love her food and she is absolutely beautiful!
Veronica is the queen of quiet company — independent yet deeply loving. She co-exists with other kitties and doesn't mind dogs either!
This devoted mother gave so much to her kittens. Now she deserves to be someone’s priority — never forgotten, always cherished.
Whoever welcomes this darling girl into their life will be truly blessed.
Give Veronica the forever home she’s waited for. 💛🐾

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
