About Kenzie
This pretty girls name is Kenzie, although the girls at pound affectionately called her Chapell Roan.
Kenzie is a 12-year-old female Cattle dog mix who is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. Despite her age, she’s full of love and affection—a true snuggle bug. She thrives on human connection, always eager to be near you and please you.
Kenzie seems quite comfortable being on her own and doesn't show signs of separation anxiety, making her a great match for a home with working owners. When she’s not getting attention or enjoying your company, she’s usually content curled up in her bed.
Though she’s doing wonderfully for her age, she has slowed down a little and isn't overly energetic, even considering her breed.
Kenzie recently passed her behavioural assessment with flying colours—she was calm, gentle, and well-mannered with both large and small dogs, male and female. She is also fine with cats, chickens, sheep, cows...everyone
BUT...in saying that, Kenzie can get a little jealous of other dogs getting affection it seems, so we would prefer a single dog home for her. Other animals are not a worry.
She absolutely loves her food and has lovely manners—she’ll sit politely for treats or dinner and never jumps up on people. She’s truly a well-behaved senior lady.
Kenzie is always happy to see you. Sometimes she greets you with an adorable bum wiggle, and other times she’ll quietly sit, waiting for pats and affection.
She’s a total sweetheart and would make a loving, gentle companion for the right home
Medical notes
Arhtritis in front leg joints.
Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% (of the adoption fee) administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Jimboomba on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane, although some animals can be in care throughout the greater Brisbane region.
