About Bonnie
Our Bonnie lass loves her life in foster care. She loves exploring her new world and is up for any adventure. She has at least one good walk each day with her foster sister a wolf hound. In between walks there is time for play but importantly plenty time for her cherished snoozing.
Bonnie is learning to walk on lead and happy with most encounters on her expeditions. She doesn’t appreciate the shenanigans of off lead dogs so they avoid dog parks. She prefers to meet polite on-lead dogs when she is out and about.
Bonnie loves her car rides so would appreciate home where she can be included in the weekend adventures, off to the shops, taking kids to sports or just visiting grandma. She will love to be your companion. Bonnie does love her foster sister and they get on well but she can be adopted as an only dog. She is untested as completely home alone so may take some adjusting as an only dog.
Bonnie knows how beautiful she is and takes pride in showing off. She is a fashion icon with her shiny coat, white sox and bright smile.
Bonnie takes delight in making every stranger she meets her new best friend, leaning in for a cuddle and pat.
Bonnie is a bright and joyous girl, sure to make every day special for her new family.

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
