About Toro
Meet Toro!
I’m an 8-month-old Kelpie boy with a heart that melts faster than ice cream on a summer’s day. Life is an adventure, and I’m here for all of it!
I’m the perfect mix of playful and snuggly, I’ll chase my toys with gusto, proudly carry my rope around like treasure, and then happily curl up for ear rubs and cuddles when the games are done.
I’m also a clever cookie! I already know my name, can sit, shake paws, stay (most of the time), and I’m rocking my recall. I’m toilet trained, doggy-door savvy, and I sleep soundly through the night in my snuggly bed.
Like all good Kelpies, I thrive on routine and love learning new things, so I’ll need a family who’s keen to keep up my training, especially on leash walking and building my sit-stay skills. With guidance, I’ll be the absolute best boy.
Bonus points: I’m a great little traveller, love a car ride, and I get on beautifully with my foster kids, playing games in the backyard is my jam!
My dream forever family? An active home with people who understand the Kelpie spirit: smart, loyal, affectionate, and always ready for action. Whether you’re a couple or a family, if you’re looking for a cheeky, lovable companion to share life’s adventures, I could be your perfect match.
Toro is located in VIC.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
