About Frankie
Meet Frankie,
Frankie is a pure bred Male French Bulldog - almost 3 years old. Frankie made his way to waggy tails recently and has a little bit of a rough start to life. Frankie does prefer to be the only man (or doggie) of the house and is not a fan of cats. Frankie absolutely loves cuddles and adores small humans over the age of ten to have a play then cuddle with.
Frankie will need a family who has some time and patience but with the right kind of love he will flourish.
Frankie is crate trained however hasn't spent a lot of time in his life inside a home.
He loves people, playtime, and being with his humans. Frankie would thrive in a home with someone who understands the quirks of the breed and can give him plenty of structure, play, and lots of cuddles.
He is a brachycephalic breed. All suffer from BOAS in some way, either minor or severe. They are always at risk of boas ( brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome)becoming clinical- creating difficulty breathing. We expect you to have a complete understanding of the condition and discuss the potential surgical, environmental and medical modifications you may have to do for this condition with your vet before you apply for this dog.
Frankie is microchipped, received his yearly vaccination regularly wormed and desexed.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

What does this mean?
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. 7 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from Waggy Tails.
4. Adoption is finalised after 7 day trial, Ownership and Microchip paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this may take up to 4 weeks dependent on microchip paperwork. If for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to Waggy Tails the Adoption fee can be refunded minus an admin fee (Minimum $250).
5. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work UNTIL date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current at their cost from date of adoption.
