About Panda
Meet this beautiful girl ,the queen of cuddles ,Panda! Who is a dainty delight with a whole lot of sass and sweetness wrapped up in one soft, curly bundle.
Panda is a 1 year and 3 month old Cavoodle
With her big expressive eyes and curly soft coat, she knows exactly how to get your attention ... usually by throwing herself dramatically onto your lap and gazing up like you're the love of her life. Because, let’s be honest... you will be.
This little lady came into care through no fault of her own as a private surrender and has adjusted beautifully to her foster family's home and life.
Panda is toilet trained, crate trained at night, and uses a doggy door (although she sometimes prefers the grander entrance when the door’s already open , she's a diva like that).
Panda is full of beans and joy, with a side of cheeky. She adores people and dogs alike, and will happily curl up beside a foster siblings or press herself into your arms for a cuddle. She's incredibly smart, always one paw ahead of the game, and learns new things quickly, especially if treats are involved.
Panda's favorite things in life include squeaky toys, enrichment puzzles, brushing sessions, wearing a coat (style icon alert) and of course zooming around the yard in celebration whenever one of her foster siblings has just had a bath.
When Panda is feeling a little overstimulated or just needs a break from all the action, she’ll retreat to her own little teepee , her personal chill zone ,for some quiet time.
Panda's a great communicator and loves being spoken to during walks, which helps keep her focused and stay confident on the lead. She used to bark on walks, but now that she understands who’s boss (you, of course), she’s much more relaxed.
Panda very much has that " Social Butterfly Status" going on and is very much a "people pup"!
She loves older children and teenagers and would very much suit a home with older kids, as younger children's energy can be just a little bit much for her.
Panda would thrive in a home with another small, playful dog who can match her energy and snuggle skills. She hasn’t met cats or small animals yet, so we’re not sure how she’d go there, as still untested.
At night, Panda sleeps happily in her crate after Storytime and cuddles in bed (yes, she’s a bedtime companion first, crate sleeper second). During the day, she’s a couch queen or sprawled in the sun, often snuggled up with a foster sibling or curled into the nook of one of her human arm.
Panda is looking for a home where someone is around more often than not. She’s not the kind of dog who thrives alone for long hours ,she’s far too affectionate and people focused for that. A home with another playful dog would be ideal to help her feel settled and entertained. While she’s a bit of a chatterbox, she’s very responsive and would benefit from ongoing gentle training to polish up her already impressive manners.
Panda does have a coat that requires grooming
Panda brings joy, laughter, and a little bit of cheek wherever she goes. Her foster family adores her, and they know her forever family will, too!
