🌭 Meet Slinky the Sausage Dog - a sweet, sensitive soul looking for a calm and committed foster-to-adopt home where she can continue learning that the world isn't so scary after all.

Slinky is working hard on building her confidence and is looking for a home that can help her take things slowly, at her pace. Walks and new people can be overwhelming right now, so she'll need a home with at least a courtyard or backyard so she doesn't have to go out on walks straight away. With time and patience, she can start to learn that meeting new people is actually fun - but she'll need a quiet environment and slow, gentle introductions to get there.

Slinky would love a home with adults or calm teenagers, and minimal visitors while she settles in. She is looking for a pet-free household, as she prefers to be the centre of attention (and honestly, she deserves it!).

She's happiest when she's playing ball, snuggled up under a blanket, or hanging out close to her trusted people. She's still perfecting her toilet training, but she's improving every day with support and routine.

Slinky is on daily behavioural medication, which is helping her feel calmer and more settled. She'll need a family who are home more often than not, and who can offer her the patience, love, and consistency she needs to thrive.
