Looking for a devoted pocket rocket? Holly may be your girl. This tiny princess is looking for love with someone who has time to devote, can offer a calm home, and is willing to throw a (small) ball at regular intervals.
Holly is looking for a new home through no fault of her own and she has been well-loved through her life to date. She is a shy girl and, although she loves to stretch her tiny legs and enjoy some play, Holly is pretty scared of the world around her. She has lived with another small dog in the past but prefers to keep to herself and her person.
While never aggressive, Holly can be wary around new people and is quite frightened of other dogs. This sweetie enjoys her toys and human affection. She sleeps in her own bed but is more than happy to share her person's if given the chance (just don't squish her).
Holly is used to spending some time on her own during the day and is typically quiet and well-behaved around the home, where she stays indoors. Holly is currently in an apartment – and has been trained to toilet either on a towel or a grass toilet. Holly is okay being handled when needed by vets and groomers, but she does appreciate reassurance and support, which is understandable given how small she is and how big the world is.
Holly may be fine to share her home with a small, placid dog in a calmer adult home with a person or people who can give her love and security. She would benefit from games that give her mental stimulation and some further training and gradual exposure to the world to help her build her confidence. Holly will be okay being alone while her people are out for work or play, as long as she is not left for excessive periods and she gets plenty of love and attention when you are home. If Holly speaks to your heart, she would love you to submit an inquiry.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

We look forward to receiving your application.
