Mimi

Mimi is a gentle soul with a quiet charm that blossoms in the safety of a loving home. Though she started out shy-especially while recovering from a bout of cat flu-she slowly found her confidence, and now seeks out affection with tender enthusiasm. Once she's comfortable, Mimi will nestle herself into the crook of your arm, resting her head and closing her eyes in complete trust.

She's a calm, peaceful cat who has shown curiosity and friendliness toward other felines in her foster home-even initiating gentle interactions. Mimi would thrive in a home with another friendly cat, and while she often snuggles with her sister Muffin, she could adapt to life without her if needed. That said, Muffin deeply loves her, and they do make a wonderful pair.

Mimi eats both wet and dry food without issue, uses the litter box reliably, and enjoys curling up in cozy blankets-sometimes even burrowing in for extra comfort (not out of fear, just for coziness!). She has never shown any aggression toward people and is a sweet, easygoing presence in the home.

Like her sister, Mimi doesn't show well in the shelter environment-big, wide eyes and a tendency to hide don't do her justice. But behind that shy exterior is a truly affectionate and loving cat just waiting for the right person to give her the time and space she needs to shine.
