NOTE: You are unable to meet Morgan until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Morgan in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• I am a bit erratic on lead - so training with a halti or harness will help
• To be allowed inside with my family for lots of cuddles and love
• I am great at playing fetch and LOVE to play tug-o-war. Both squeaky toys and balls are awesome. I can get a bit mouthy when I am excited, so maybe no small kids as I would hate to accidentally hurt them.
• I haven't had much socialisation with other dogs so I will need regular positive interactions with other dogs especially while I'm still young enough to learn manners. However, I have made friends with both a female dog and a male dogs while at the shelter and I was happy to hang out with them with no issues. I do prefer dogs that are not overly excitable and jump all over me. Otherwise, I would be happy to have all your attention for myself.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Being an active breed I have a lot of energy so an active family is a must!
• SOCIALISATION is very important. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will ensure I grow into a social and well-adjusted dog.
• TRAINING, TRAINING, TRAINING. It's ESSENTIAL I receive training in all aspects of my life so I can be the best dog I can be.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Cats or small animals as I find them fun to chase

My best features:

• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• I can sit & lay down
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I LOVE toys, playing fetch and a game of tug-o-war
• Exuberant & full of beans
