To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Dog Adoption Enquiry Form (we need our form completed; not solely an enquiry from PetRescue please), as follows:

Meet Baby: a little Chihuahua with a heart as big as a Rottweiler's and twice the personality. This little charmer brings you smiles galore and loves nothing more than zipping around the garden before settling in for cuddles with her favourite human. Her greatest joys are people, snuggles, and belly rubs.

Baby can be selective with new dogs and may show some resource guarding when nervous, but she warms up beautifully once comfortable and becomes playful and affectionate with her canine friends. She's mostly house-trained with just the occasional mishap, and though her recall isn't perfect, she prefers staying close to her people anyway so once she knows she's yours, there shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Baby shows no destructive tendencies and adapts well to various lifestyles, so whether you work part-time or are an active retiree, Baby fits right in. She will put herself in her open crate in her comfy bed during times when you're away from home.

If you have a cosy spot and a loving heart for a tiny companion who thinks she's ten times her size, Baby might be your perfect match.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
