About Acorn
Acorn … mysterious name.
Acorn is a domestic Syrian Swift pigeon and was found walking on the footpath, unable to fly. Someone noticed him (although he tried to be slick) and picked him up and took him to our vet for assessment.
He had a broken wing, and the finder offered to keep and rehabilitate Acorn on their own. However upon coming back a week later for a checkup, decided to surrender Acorn to our rescue.
Who wouldn’t want such a charming young boy! He came home, at first shy, but quickly revealed to us his fiesty flirt side. He loves looking at his reflection in the mirror, and doing loving “spars” with your hand and cooing very loudly to you to assert his dominance. 😂 Acorn is not mean! He just likes to nibble your fingers to get your attention, so he can show you his moves.
Acorn would love to be a single pigeon and charm you forever, but he would also be happy with a pigeon girlfriend(s) in an aviary outside.
Will he be the one to provide some spunk in your life?
