Little boy Snug has shown himself to be a real character. He came into rescue with a sore knee which thanks to SODR, has now been operated on so he’s pain free for probably the first time in his life.

Snug is crate-trained, sleeps beautifully through the night without a squeak and is toilet trained. He loves flirting with all the new people he meets, loves walks and going on sniffaris with his foster family. Most of all he loves his toys. There can never be too many toys for Snug, so if you love spoiling your little friend, Snug is your man!

He’s like a middle-aged man in a tiny little body. He loves to cuddle, flips upside down to show his affection and gives you the sneaky side eye sometimes. He’s got the determination of a typical JRT, has a great nose for smells of course, and is a wonderful watch dog for any home.

Snug wants to be your one and only as he’s not great at sharing. He loves puppies and playing with his foster sister now, but it’s taken time. As he doesn’t like to share, not all dogs like him or will have the skill and patience to get to the play stage with him. He’s fine with cats but does forget his manners occasionally if the cat runs by quickly or if the cat’s food bowl seems unattended.

Snug sits for treats and waits before meals and is a smart little dog. He might be a small boy, but he’s confident and will let you know exactly what he needs. He’s a “people dog”, and it’s his relationship with the people in his life that gives him the most joy. He loves lazy sleep-ins and couch cuddles, walks together, and he loves his car rides. He just wants to be part of the family. Ideally, he’d like someone or a couple who are home a lot. He’s got a lot to offer a new family looking for a true companion to love on and to join in on life’s adventures.
