Meet Cherry,
Cherry is as sweet as her name suggests! This lovely girl is gentle, independent, and perfectly content in a calm, peaceful home. She’s a wonderful match for first-time cat owners and will happily settle in with someone who appreciates the quieter things in life.
While she may not demand the spotlight, Cherry is friendly and social in her own graceful way. She enjoys engaging with her people - curious about what you’re up to and always happy to share a quiet moment or two. She's got a calm confidence and a soft charm that's hard to resist. She is mostly quiet but does enjoy a cheeky little chat with you every now and again.
And yes, she absolutely knows how gorgeous she is - and she carries herself with just the right amount of sass and elegance to prove it! If you’re looking for a sweet, social girl who brings a gentle kind of magic to your home, Cherry might just be the one. Come meet her and see why we’re all a little smitten!
Cherry is open to meet kids of any age. She likes to be picked up, carried and cuddled - in fact this is her preferred method of interaction and preferred method of transportation, too. She likes to be patted and touched all over - she isn't fussy - as long as she is getting attention!
Cherry is not suitable to live with dogs - she gets very scared seeing and hearing them.
Cherry is not suitable to live with other cats - she prefers being the only cat in the home.
We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Cherry has already experienced living outside but she's very happy being an inside cat. If she is outside, it will increase her chances of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. As an inside cat she can live her best life possible.
Cherry has low range energy levels. She is not overly playful but seems interested in feather wand toys.
Cherry is not fussy with her food. She is known to eat any food offered to her and she likes treats, too.
Staff Comments: Cherry would love a home where she can be pampered and enjoy the lifestyle she's always dreamed of. She does have a unique way of sleeping, which is hard to explain - you'll have to see it for yourself! Cherry is affectionate and loves to be close to you, held, patted and cuddled.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C5 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
