Introducing Teddy, a delightful two-year-old Maltese x Poodle mix with a personality as charming as his fluffy coat! Weighing in at just 6kg, this little guy brings an abundance of joy and energy to any home. Based in Teneriffe, Teddy is eager to find a loving new family who can provide the warmth and companionship he craves.
Teddy is a boisterous 2 year old boy who loves nothing more than company. He loves to curl up by your side and sleep, and when he’s not sleeping, he loves to run around with a toy (or shoe if he has the chance). He loves to go on walks and meet new people, smelling everything in sight. He is non shedding and requires grooming every couple of months. He is crate trained for bed time. He prefers the company of adults as children can be a little overwhelming for him. He is not fond of cats, and loves dogs his own size. He can be integrated into a home with another dog if you take your time with socialisation. If you work through the day, he can be left alone and will just sleep until you get back. He can travel short distances with cars .
He is small but mighty, and will let you know if someone is coming up to your door.
He will be best suited to a calm home with a lot of love and attention to give.
Teddy is a sociable fellow who gets along famously with other dogs, making him the perfect playmate for your canine companions. While he adores company with older kids, he prefers the interaction with children over six who can understand and respect his space. Teddy is not a cat person as he prefers a strictly canine circle of friends.
Fully vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and wormed, Teddy is all set to embark on new adventures with you. His curious and playful nature will be best nurtured in a home with a secure fence, as he loves to explore his surroundings.
This little bundle is looking for a special family who will embrace his spirited personality and joyful zest for life. With an adoption fee of $895, you’ll be gaining not just a pet but a loyal friend and an endless source of love and happiness. Ready to welcome Teddy into your home? He can’t wait to meet you!

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
