Hercules was captured living as a stray in a small colony at the local aged care home. As an 8kg tom cat, his hissing, spitting and stomping was a menacing sight!

For a long while, Hercules only showed affection towards Raven, who we think is his offspring. But then he progressed to making more cat friends, and letting us scary humans touch him more. Now he likes to sleep on his carer's bed and does not try to run away when touched.

Hercules will never be a party animal, he is a little damaged and rough around the edges from his time fending for himself. However, he is loyal and shows love via his big green eyes, and sometimes we really feel like his big fat tom cat cheeks are smiling at us.
