A strikingly handsome, 2.5-year-old blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, Maverick is a friendly and affectionate boy looking for his forever family. With his charming personality and loving nature, he's ready to become a cherished member of your home.
About Maverick:
Appearance: Stunning blue coat, muscular build, and a big, friendly smile.
Temperament: Very friendly, he's a real fan of people, and has previously lived well with children.
Social Skills: Maverick gets along with female dogs; he requires slow introductions to new dogs as he tends to rush up to other dogs excitedly. He has lived with another female dog before and could potentially co-exist with a new canine friend after proper introductions.
Living Environment: Maverick would thrive indoors with his family, enjoying daily cuddles and companionship. He has spent most of his life in a backyard on his own, so he's eager to experience a more social and loving home.
Behavior & Care:
Walks: He enjoys walks and travels nicely on his harness, making outings a pleasure.
Toilet Training & Enrichment: He keeps his pen clean and is toilet trained. He is also not destructive in his pen.
Exercise Needs: Muscular and energetic, Maverick requires daily exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy.
Potential Anxiety: Like many staffies, he may experience some separation distress. A family who is home more often would be ideal.
Diet & Safety: A high-quality diet and secure fencing are essential for his well-being and safety.

Enquiries sent through PetRescue will NOT be answered. Please follow the process below
1) Please note the name of the animal you're interested in
2) Visit the RSPCA Queensland adoption site at www.rspcaqld.org.au/adopt
3) Search for the animal either by type or location
4) View the animal's profile, and click the link to submit an application
5) RSPCA staff will contact you to inform you about the outcome of your application and to talk through the next steps if your application is successful!
