About Sally
Meet Sally, a sweet and loving senior dog who is searching for a calm and nurturing new family. With her gentle demeanour and affectionate nature, Sally promises to bring joy and warmth to any home. Her golden years are meant for enjoying simple pleasures, and she delights in sharing quality time with her human companions.
Sally has spent time in a foster home since entering our care in early July, and she has been thriving. Living with a small breed male dog, she has proven to be extremely happy, social, and non-reactive, highlighting her easy-going nature. Sally's compatibility with other dogs makes her a great addition to households that already have canine companions.
In Sally's world, every moment is more precious when shared. Her quiet companionship is a testament to her loving heart, and she is truly happiest when she is around those she loves. If you're looking for a gentle, loving soul to join your family, Sally is ready to share her golden years and fill your life with love and warmth.

Medical notes
When Sally first came into our care, she had a severe eye injury to her right eye that appeared to be untreated for a very long time. After extensive consults with our Vet team, it was decided that the best treatment was to remove the eye altogether.
Sally underwent her eye removal surgery in early July and is recovering very well. She is still extremely spritely and happy-go-lucky despite these hardships.
Being a senior dog, our Vets also noted that Sally has grade 2/4 dental disease and a grade 2/6 left systolic heart murmur, which are both very common in dogs of Sally's age.
Adoption details
Please do not apply to adopt via our animals' PetRescue profile.
Follow the links below to be directed to the Wollongong City Council website, and find your preferred animal's online profile.
Once in the online profile, scroll down and click the link to complete an adoption application. Once received, a member of our team will be in touch to discuss your application and suitability for your preferred animal.
If we deem the animal to be suitable for your home and lifestyle, an in-person meet and greet may be organised. Should your meet and greet be a success, you can take your new furry friend home that day or following their desexing surgery. Our team will manage all your animal's paperwork, including ownership and vaccination documentation.
