About Roxy
Roxy is a 11-month-old sweetheart with a heart full of love and legs made for dancing (or meerkat-style begging when she’s excited!). This dainty little girl is gentle, playful, and has a soft spot for kids – she truly thrives around them and would make the most loyal and fun little sidekick.
Roxy is affectionate and thrives on human company. She’ll happily follow you around the house and would love nothing more than to curl up in your bed each night. She's not one to be left alone for long stretches – her dream home is one where people are home often, or she can be involved in day-to-day family life.
She’s good on the lead with her harness and enjoys walks, especially if her people are nearby. Around other dogs, Roxy can be a little bossy and quite confident, especially with dogs who are more submissive – she’d do best either as the only dog or with a well-matched, equally confident canine buddy.
Roxy’s coat is soft, shiny, and beautiful – it does need regular brushing and grooming to keep her looking her best, and she’s quite used to the pampering.
She’s not suitable to live with cats – she’d find them far too tempting. But she’s got enough love in her for a whole family, and then some.

Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
