Introducing Koah the Kelpie!

Through no fault of his own, this good boy wound up in foster care, but the time has come for him to find a family of his own.

Yes, he is a gorgeous, handsome (often goofy) good boy, but he's an active Kelpie, so finding him the right home is essential.

Whilst in care Koah has met horses and cows and briefly attended a herding workshop, showing some interest (but needing some work).

He loves to chase the ball or frisbee and is currently learning how to bring it back. Speaking of bringing it back, he's also learning recall. It was preeeetty rusty, but it's getting better.

We have had no troubles with Koah with our dogs, but he doesn't seem to enjoy large dominant males.

Koah has fit into his foster family really well; yes there has been chewing and a little nuisance barking but this is why he will need a family who understands working breeds. He loves exercise and brain games!

Koah would make a lovely pet for an active family, or someone who likes to training and activities (scent work, agility etc) with their dogs.

Koah is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative), microchipped, and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
