About Pepper
Meet Pepper!
Pepper may come off a little shy at first, but give her a chance and you’ll see her playful, curious side start to shine.
When she was being cared for in a foster home, Pepper showed her true colours and she was calm, friendly, and content. Unfotunately shelter life isn’t easy for a cat like her. It’s noisy and unpredictable, and sometimes she gets overstimulated and is passed by, time and time again.
The best home for Pepper will be quiet and stable with understanding cat people. We know from experience that she is a different cat in a loving home - she just needs you to reach out so she can show you. If you start with consistent routines, gentle interaction, a litle patience and regular play, Pepper has the potential to regain her affectionate nature and become a loyal, loving companion. She might not be a lap cat on day one — but if you give her space and let her come to you, she’ll reward you with something even better: trust.
When you meet her at the shelter she will probably hide, She is very cautious around new people, but she is still young and active and really interested in playing —especially when a treat is involved, and this is one way you'll be able to settle her in.
If you appreciate a cat with a bit of depth, who will flourish with the right support, Pepper could be perfect for you.
